One the very first courses in the Communication Studies Program is Public Speaking. The first rule of public speaking is know your purpose. I struggled to understand what that meant as I prepared my speeches. After what seemed like failed attempts at sharing my story, I learned that knowing your purpose is not simply telling everyone a dream you once had.

So what is my purpose as a photographer?

As a photographer, I have the capacity to make close friends of acquaintances, to make space and time meet, to adjust the focus and change my position to create and capture beauty. It would be much easier to switch the camera to automatic and snap a picture, but there is no beauty in that.

My purpose is to help you capture and connect the beauty of our stories with our emotions in such a way that you will never forget, in such a way that will allow you to relive some of your greatest memories.
